学生ビザについて

ご覧下さってありがとうございます。

僕は今、日本で音楽をしているのですが、
来年の夏ぐらいにアメリカの西海岸に長期で滞在し、
アメリカでバンドを組みたいと考えています。

長期滞在のビザとなると、
お勧めされたのが、
仕事ビザと学生ビザを取得する、とのことでした。

現実的に可能なものは、
学生ビザだと思っているのですが、
学生ビザは大学以外の学校(語学学校など)に通っても取得できるものでしょうか?

また、学生ビザを取得するのに、おすすめな学校を知ってらっしゃる方は、
教えて頂けると非常に助かります。
