The Kumu Hula Association of Northern California, the leading hula organization in Northern California, has hosted the Ia Oe E Ka La Hula Competition&Festival annually since the 1980s. This event is the oldest hula event outside of the state of Hawaii, and this year will mark its 43rd year.
